I realized I needed a better home workout setup the exact moment I ripped a chunk of drywall down on my head doing pull-ups on an exposed rafter in my freezing Fort Collins garage. It was April 2020. As a guy who spent six years working as a physical therapy assistant and coaching high school track athletes, I already knew how the human body moved. I knew how to program workouts that actually built strength without wrecking joints. What I didn't know was how to outfit a two-car garage on a budget without buying gear that would fall apart in six months. So, I started researching, buying, and testing equipment. I figured out exactly how to mount Titan Fitness folding racks so they wouldn't rip the studs out of the wall.
